    Title Versus H1

I have followed a tutorial from the forum here which puts the forum thread title in h1 tags on my VB3.8 forum. Looking at my source I notice that this text also appears between the title tags higher up the page.

Is Ok for title and h1 tags to be the same?

Meanwhile, how beneficial is it to have the h1 tags in the source. Thanks

Yes its ok for them to be the same. A heading should be a logical section heading as in an outline. the out-most outline level is usually the title of the document. All documents should have a full structured semantic outline to them.
