Thread title inserted as default subject for replies? In my vB, if someone replies to a post and doesn't fill in the "Title", it stays blank. I've noticed in other vB boards, if no post title is entered when replying, the thread title is inserted as the subject of the reply. Is this a stock vB feature that I'm missing, is it related to a mod that I need to find out about someplace else, or am I missing the setting for a vBSEO feature? From a very newbie standpoint, as long as users post relevant thread titles, isn't that a GOOD thing to have those keywords repeated as the subject for every reply? TIA! -Case

two simple template mods for vBulletin SEO I must admit, this didn't work for me for some reason. Read the full thread though, there's some other interesting optimization tips in there.

That did it... thanks! (For anyone else reading, the solution I was after is actually a simple option in vBulletin - this was pointed out to me by vB support. - As usual, however, the above referenced thread here at vBSEO.com provides a much more elegant (IMO) way of going about it, AND works retro-actively on old posts, unlike vB's stock solution.) Thanks to everyone! -Case
