    Strange search result problem

    Hello,

I just got a .com domain that has been parked.

Now i'am using it for 3-4 weeks, but it wont be in search engine results. Not in Google, Yahoo and Bing. Their are a lot of pages indexed in google, but even when i search the exact URL, it wont be in the results.

Is it possible that in a earlier stage something happend with this domain that is "illegal" for search engines?? It looks like the search engines just dont want the domain

How long can it take to be found in the results when a domain had been parked?

    Im using VB4 and VBSeo.

    TIA!

Searching for URLs rarely turns up that URL as a result. you should search against the exact page title and/or track with google analytics/etc. There is no way for us to tell you an answer for something we have no control over, google.

I'm showing you have pages in the index via site: command. It will take time to rank for specific terms and gain a result page. SEO doesn't happen overnight.

Could you please explain me your first line? I dont understand.

I understand that SEO wont happen overnight only its 3 - 4 weeks now, bu i understand that it could take longer to get any result.

    go to google and type
    site:domain.com
    into the box.

it will show an (inaccurate) listing of (some) pages they have indexed.

That means you have to do something to increase your SERPs. You can buy links to link to the threads that you think would be searched a lot (I will do that for competitive keywords). Or you can submit the links to social bookmarking sites (this works well for me, not sure how it will do for you).

Sorry for the pretty big bump :P
