    Store CSS Stylesheets as Files?

    hey there

    just wondering Storing CSS as file is good for SEO or not?

    coz one of the mod i would like to use requred me to Not to store my CSS as a file....

    Please Advice.

    I would say it is good for SEO simply for the fact that bots do not waste time reading all of that css.

    I can't think of one good reason why a mod would require the css to by inline vs linked.

    Care to share some more details?


    css linked saves bandwidth, download time for your users, and will remain chached for every page. having it inline will effectively slow your site down to your users by 25% or more.

    well, its not actually required to store css as file, but ever since i and other members updated to 4.0.1, it doesnt not support css file stored as a file..

    Hello,

    I cannot tell what that screen shot is.

    However be sure that your clientscript/vbulletin_css/ folder is chmoded to 777.

    It looks like the mod author is aware of the issue on page 7. Perhaps a fix will be out soon.
