    Social bookmarking will help?

As you may know, amount of such services are increasing, here is a quote from one blog:
Here are over 200 services that can bookmark and share! This without counting the +250 digg clones!
What's so great about SOCIAL bookmarks is that it creates a people powered search engine. Even if you don't use these services to bookmark you can use these for searching, the more a web page is bookmarked the more popular!
And all that sites have good PR - ~5 points generally, and so not bad to have links from that sites. This links are will be good because, these communities are organized by people, not search engine robots. Check Social bookmarking - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for general information about these services. This way looks pretty good for promotion purposes isn't it?

Yes, which is why vbseo RC4 (and to be included in vBSEO 3.0.0 final) include social bookmarks. You will see digg, delicious, technorati, and furl links on all posts, as well as in the tread tools drop-down.

Any links into your forum can't be bad, that's of course if the place where you submit your link accepts it.

Will there be options to add or remove specific ones? (ie remove digg, add reddit, for example). What about just having them show up on the first post? Generally people aren't going to digg a post, but rather a whole thread, know what I mean?

I can see options to remove, but not to add.
    I'd like to add reddit.com
