singles posts in serp instead of regular url

    Hi,
through google website search module I see that in serp there are the singles posts instead of the main urls of discussions. This is bad, which option to fix this situation?
Moreover through site:www.mysite. com I see many site.com/members/user1.html etc How to not spider theese pages?

    Thanks

    Hello,

you can disable Showpost URL rewrite option in vbseocp and add the following in robots.txt:
    Code:
    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /members/
    Disallow: /showpost.php

You should click "+" sign in "URL Rewrite Settings" section to expand Advanced settings.

Is there a consensus around here if the showpost and member pages should be disabled? What is the rationale?
