Similar threads 3.8 series better seo opinions

I have been looking at this thread aimed at vb4 series users
[HOW-TO] Add keyword relevant text in similiar threads

What Im looking for is opinions on my ideas on making the similar threads more seo friendly

The first one is easy to do
And thats to add the thread title beside "Similar Threads"
The idea nicked shamelessly from the thread above and that to go into the vbseo panel, alter <!--VBSEO_RR_2--> And in the box put " to [thread_title]"
So that way you end up with "Similar Threads to blah blah blah"

The next idea is to kill a lot of the junk words / bloat. It looks like some are not used in vb4
Words like "Thread" "Thread Starter" "Forum" "Replies" and "Last Post"
Not words anyone wants to rank well for, from what I can see

The next idea is in the similar threads and that to kill three columns straight off.
Thread starters name, replies and last reply date
Kills a lot of junk words. Kills a lot of unwanted bloat

Theres more. Where you have the thread title, rather than have the hover box with the thread preview, have the thread preview on show all the time.
This in theory will add a lot more words and touch wood, increase your chances of having a thread rank for a term

The above is not that hard to implement.

What are your opinions on doing the above ideas?

It's honestly so far down the page that it has little weight. It certainly won't hurt, but it's a bit of work for likely not much gain.

    Cheers for that Brian.
I have already wasted the time seeing what needs to be edited and if its an easy edit with very little or no programing as such needed. The editing is the quick part. Its only killing a line of code here and there in two templates.

I thought I would see what the feedback was, rather than jumping in feet first on a seo nightmare

Just been through and made the alterations. Page loads seem marginally quicker straight off, which is another bonus for seo
