Question SEO help for e-commerce product catalogue on same domain

    Hello,

I'm the webmaster of grasscity.com, vbseo has helped us too much to mention to hit skyhigh figures for our forums on forum.grasscity.com.

However the succes with SEO optimization we had with the forums we do not have with our current shop on Bongs and Glass Pipes - Grasscity.com . The software "intershop" is horrible with url rewriting and and just the maintenance of the whole package is horrible. Since we transfered two months ago to this new software we have lost tons of search engine traffic due to poor SEO possibilities with this current shop software. Until we have solved this I was wondering if it would help if we would copy our whole product catalogue to a seperate forum section, let's say: Grasscity Shop - Product Reviews and Discussions (see picture attachement) , where people can review all our products, but in the posts we would put direct links to these products in our shop as a trigger to actualy buy. Would we get good results getting at least people to find our keywords but now via the forums? Or would this be considered spamming by the search engines and will this bring us more harm than good? It seemed to me as something that actualy could work very well. Any advise on this is very welcome, thanks!

off course, but it will take time before we have that, please understand intershop is a enterprise sysyem starting at 75k only for the license. so x-cart will not do for us, especialy implementin crm and erp software,so my questions still stands, could i use the forums to get better search results for my shop products?

    thx

Nope this is not possible, vbseo can only help you with the area where you have vbulletin forum software script installed.

I am unsure, if vbseo does helps for external links, if you are asking that you will place links of shop products into seo optimized forums, this wont help a lot.

If intershop costs 75K only for licensce, there should be tons of seo addons for same Search Engine Optimization (SEO) *-*Intershop
