    the site (page) you put in there must me 'trackback' enabled.

    ie, a wordpress blog, or another vbseo forum.

    I'm sure you've seen trackbacks on blogs before... they usually appear as a snippet in brackets.

    ie, this blog post i made has 1 track back.

    Intro to CURL with PHP: SkeyMedia

    his blog 'pinged' my blog when he linked to me, and thus the trackback was left.

    In general, it's a useless feature. i've never used it.

    vbseocp.php#linkbacks -> Enable Incoming Trackbacks -> No

    I do beleive that should do the trick
    Trackbacks, i believe are similar to pingbacks, only for older out dated systems (early blogs)

    The pingbacks i personally find semi-useful to see who is linking to your threads and what they're saying about them. Though i never really approve any of them, its a cool feature to have

    I see so the purpose of track back is to see who links to you?

    However when my users make a post, if they put in a trackback link will a similar message go to the site they are track backing? Will i have to do something on my behalf?

    Can i disable the feature but still remain to see who else is linking to the site? I know we can do this with Google but that takes time, if somebody track backs to your site i suppose its much faster to know?
