RSS-post and the new Google Panda algorithm

As I have e few forums on my website importing RSS-feeds as posts, I was wondering if this is considered as duplicate content by Google after the recent changes in algorithm?
I recently lost one point in PR and has alsp lost some traffic, but I don't know whether this was cause by this or by my recent upgrade from vB 3.8. to vB 4?
Anyone who has found any info which could confirm or dismiss my suspicions?

This has always been looked at as duplicate content.

The move you are seeing is likely from the move to vb4 more than anything else. It is a big site change and most people, including us, saw a dip when upgraded.

My case is just the opposite: several external web sites are using my forum's RSS Syndication to feed their posts.

I'm not sure whether this is the rigtht question, but would you advice to disable RSS Syndication?

It's generally not a good idea to have your content listed elsewhere, but it shouldn't hurt you now that google is able to tell the 'source' for duplicate content based on first ping, which vbseo does automatically for you.
