While doing some research today for an article I'm writing on the dangers of linking to bad neighborhoods I discovered that many of my vBulletin sites are actually considered to be linking to a bad neighborhood. Guess which one? The Crawlability site which poses a site wide off site link which isn't the ideal for SEO.
I've discovered that crawlability.com is considered a bad linking environment because some of the users of the tool vbseo are in fact sites that can be considered bad neighborhoods.
In my article I'll be suggesting that vbseo allow for options "FREE" of charge to specific industry categories as opposed to just the root of the site. This may help dig people out of bad neighborhood associations.
You can visit the bad neighborhood site to examine for yourself
I'll certainly follow up after my research is done but for now I leave with this question.
Is there an option to change the links in all of my forums to point to a different domain?
