Sorry for digging up a year old thread.
But, is it possible now? If yes, what's the code (or modification)?
I found a workaround, but not sure if this is still applicable for vBulletin 4.1.9.
Apply "rel=nofollow" attribute to all parsed URLs - vBulletin.org Forum
Can someone confirm it please?

We do not support mods from vb.org. You should consult with the author of the mod for any technical details.
That said, I would not recommend nofollowing everything for guests. Google expects to see outbound links and it will still 'follow' them even with a nofollow tag on it.Brian Cummiskey / Crawlability Inc.
