    rel=nofollow links on forum main page

    I have a lot of subforums on my site and I show these subforums on forumhome. My question is would there be any benefit of me adding rel=nofollow to the subforum links on forumhome since they can still be access by the spider by clicking on the parent category link

    Yes, but then a 2click route (for a spider) would be needed to get to those pages. Why not let it be 1click instead?

    I guess that makes since.. I have went through and added rel=nofollows to the usernames in the last post column along with other navbar links that offer no SERP value to me. Hopefully this helps
