    I want to redirect irc.gamerzneeds.net to 11.111.111.11 as an example

    I own Gamerz Needs What would I need to put in the htaccess file to do this.

    That would be a DNS entry; not a rewrite rule. Add an "A Record" for irc.gamerzneeds.net that points to the IP address.
