quick question

I have purchased VBSEO and have no idea how to optimize it. Is it already optimized by default when I install it? I have looked at this thread and would like to know if there are any other tutorials for newbies

While vBSEO's default settings are fine for an install, for more in-depth discussion - Brian's Guide is the most comprehensive advice that you can find.

Our default settings are for the forum owner who wants to just get vBSEO'd, and doesn't want to worry about tweaking their settings. Brian's guide goes into a lot of additional detail.

Regarding the robots: vBSEO won't make them come to your site, it makes your site a nicer place for them to be when they do visit.

ie: You will still need to build content and InBound Links, but your site will be a nicer place for the spiders to crawl.
