question on ranking with and without vbseo

hi, check with you guy, i have get a vbseo, however, when i do a searh on google, i can see some forums with vb board but without vbseo still stay in the rank of #1 for many month.. my board have also been month. thot we are dealing with the same product related. why is it so?
