promoting content via blogger, facebook, youtube

if u create a blog at blogger having in filled with posts that contain the first 3 lines of the threads lets say and link to the whole thread is it bad for seo ? can it be considered duplicate content ?

the same i want to ask if u have a fb page doing the same thing and a youtube channel with videos and links in the description to thread or tag pages.

becouse i noticed after doing this i had gone 1 place lower in google, maybe its irrelevant thats why i am asking

btw i have also changed 404 custom script to redirect to tags.php

It is not suggested to compare your site with sites like Facebook.

what i am saying is that i created a blog at blog spot and a facebook fan page. the blog has content from threads, 500 characters lets say and link to the thread. the fb fan page has links to the blog. so ever since the site google rankings went down. why ?

Because you are creating duplicate content of your own content

so the preview is considered duplicate content ? ok . if i delete the blog will it come back to normal ? is it acceptable to have just the title with the link ? thanx

I would not suggest that also as that is an attempt of advertising your thread on your own forum.

Again please don't compare your site with Twitter or Facebook. They are unique websites that don't care about SEO at all.

you dont understant what i am saying. using the plugin vbtweet poster, which automaticly posts new threads to a twitter account with a bit.ly format is bad for the forum seo ? yes or no ?

Links won't matter... it's the content itself that are in the posts. You want to keep all of your content on your site.
