    Problems

You guys installed VBSEO for me last October after a few teething problems things started to jog along quite well - not sensational but a 10% momth on month growth that I was quite satisfied with.

Suddenly about a month ago things suddenly started going in reverse 10 -15% fall in traffic and this has continued.

As things were going OK hadn't looked in at VBSEO for a while. Now can't find your your ticket system - have you stopped it? Also sent an email in but no reply?

Last two months have been very low for me too (in term of search engine traffic.) And I'm expecting this complete month to be low too. Guess it's just trends. Last year too, Feb March and April were the lowest trafficked months.

Have you checked what were your traffic levels for March and April last year, compared to other months ?

Also, the ticket system can be found here : vBSEO.com Helpdesk
    And the new-ticket page is : Ask a Question - vBSEO.com Helpdesk

Thanks for your reply - my figures seem to be falling like a brick - traffic via key word search has fallen by over 50%

If you are using a stats tool like Google Analytics; you can compare which keywords have been sending less visits to you, lately. (say.. Jan+Feb compared to Mar+Apr). If you still rank good for them; then it would be just less users searching for it.

    Hi Graham,

Did you make any significant changes to your forum, or experience any downtime, purchase or sell any links, etc, prior to the decline?

Sent a note to the help desk via your link above and was told that the help desk is not there for this type of problem and that it would be answered fully in the forum.

!/ why provide the link above?

2/ Is your answer above the full response/help?

    Hi Graham,

Sorry for the confusion. I posted the link to the ticketing system, since you had indicated you could not find your previous ticket. We did move to a new system, so I wanted to be sure you knew the location of the new one.

However, the support team was correct in directing your back to the forums. The ticketing system is targeted to troubleshooting of the vBSEO installation and features, etc.

My recommendation for your now is to open a critique request so that you can be given some additional tips that might help. If you saw a major drop in traffic or penalization, then there must be some factor that lead to it. My comments were intended to help you think of what might have changed. It would be impossible for us to determine the exact source of the issue without doing an exhaustive investigation, and zeroing in on all changes. In reality, the top two reasons I typically see for anyone who's reported sudden drops or penalization are related to (a) unexpected downtime or downtime due to a server move, and (b) sold non-relevant links on the site.

If there is anything completely obvious, then someone may spot it during you critique:
