"Posts" is most popular keyword

Big problem.... I and cant find an answer to this anywhere.


When using GOOGLE webmaster tools and clicking on "keywords"-- ANY vbulletin website will have "posts" as one if not THE top keyword on the website because it appears in EVERY postbit on EVERY page.


unless you own post-hole-diggers dot com, I cant see this being very helpful.



How do you get around this or do you even try?

Yeah, we all have it.

It's just the nature of the postbit. The only way around it would be to convert all those common phrases into images, but then you'll have massive gif load.

I think google is smart enough to know that words like post, forum, topic, reply, etc are typical stopwords and don't really hold ranking value.
