Instead of removing the code as instructed, you can just place noscript tags around it.

noscript will not fix the seo issues. Since the html is physically not loaded, it's simply not there until the ajax call is made (which bots will never run due to it being javascript activated)

Actually this changed , GoogleBot can now see and index ajax calls but it requires a special code structure.

As long as ALL guest users (human and bots) see the same thing, you're ok. members can see different items from guests.
