Please help my vBSEO Performance!

I dont seem to be able to get above number 6 for 'chess forums' on Google, can anyone give me any tips on how to improve this position?

Get other websites to link to you using the anchor text 'Chess Forums'

Be it paid or otherwise.

The higher the PageRank of the linking site the more weight they pass to you and all the more they charge.

Also if your site is new you will never outrank other trusted sites until around 6-9 months after doing any first time link building.

Google will want to trust you first before putting you in the best spot.

Thanks for that tip, I have managed to get our link onto a number of PR4 and PR5 sites, so hopefully when the next Google PR update takes place we should jump to PR2 or 3 at least

This tool is pretty handy for checking what sites link to you and what PR they are.

Its also great for checking the competition.

You going in the right direction then mate.

Just keep link building, it is a ongoing task, never stop.

Also Google can take months to notice so be patient.
