I'm running photopost (latest version) on my vb3.5.2 site. Photopost has the spider friendly URLs enabled. Before installing vbseo, spiders could be seen in WOL visiting photopost URLs. Now that vbseo is installed I never see a spider on a photopost URL in WOL, but when I visit the photopost index the "Users browsing the gallery" in the stats at the bottom of the page report numerous guests which I'm assuming are spiders which are being displayed in WOL.

    Hope that all makes sense.

    Can this be remedied?

    Thanks

I don't think this is to do with vBSEO.

You could try looking at this topic:
    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76662

Basically it allows you to identify spiders to show up on your Who's Online and not show up as guests.

Particularly look at this post in that thread:
    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showp...5&postcount=12

Download the XML file if you have VB 3.5.X and upload that file to:
    /yourvbdirectory/includes/xml/

It's pretty much always updated and keep an eye on that thread for further updates to that spider identification file.

Thanks, I lost the extra spider lists in the upgrade to 3.5.2.

I'd still like to know why visitors to the photogallery don't appear in WOL though.

You might need to ask PhotoPost about that, since that would be controlled by that application...
