People can see in my folders

I have never had a problem until just now, so i'm not sure if vbseo or another problems is causing this, I just noticed that all folders on my site are not displaying the index.html file instead they are showing all contents.

    example Index of /forums/images

How can I fix this asap.

    Thanks.

edit: incase there is a problem with the new htaccess that was set recently, here is what it looks like htaccess help

    Hello,

try to remove this line from .htaccess:
    Code:
    DirectoryIndex index.php
    or change it to:
    Code:
    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html

Okay removing that worked. Why do you think that line was there for originally?

I'm not sure why did you add that, default vBSEO's .htaccess doesn't have DirectoryIndex directive.

I remember now why it was added, I was told to add it by someone here a little while back when I go to this url http://*www.*gamerzneeds.net/forums/
I used to get a white page because it would not go to index.php automatically.

I have now had to change it to
    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html

Do you think I should change it to
    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm

There is no need to do that unless you are using index.htm files on your website.

It appears lots of members still cant view my site, they are just getting a blank white page when going to

Gamerz Needs - For All Your Gaming Needs!

It is working fine for me, but not for all members.

I told them to clear their cache, cookies, etc. then try again, and they all said it didnt help.

    What to do?

same here, in ie6, ie7 and ff... works.

you do have a JS error though that may cause some people with "friendly http errors" enabled to see a white page.

Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method Location.toString

this is common with 3rd part ads. check their code
