We mean THE BEST?

There is no 'The Best' ! with any hosting there are people who are extremely satisfied & extremely dissatisfied.
Basically you get what you pay for.

you can
1. correspond with the sales department to check their response time and technical knpwledge.
2. visit their support forums to see what current customers are saying.

Thank you very much.

Ok, great... it sounds like www.asmallorange.com and Pair.com are one of the best Hosting companies out there. "A Small Ornage"... a weird name though. What about the biggest and most porfitable Boards on the internet like (so I heard) DigitalPoint.com and CorvetteForum.com ....I wonder what Host they use?

Any more advise is very much appreciated!

Very Kind Regards

large boards require 'real' hardware. Most own or lease their own machines. Shared hosting is worthless after you have a decent size board.

I personally lease a dedicated server through softlayer.com

Thanks Brian.
Right now we don't have the traffic for a dedicated server, but maybe some time in the near future we will, who knows for sure.... so, for now, a shared hosting plan but we want 24/7 phone support, we want excellent security measures and a professsional mindset, working adult minded people, not a student run organization (please, no offense to students).

Thanks!
