    other sites hotlinking your images

    Hi guys,

I'm noticing ever more SITE OWNERS (who should know better and probably do) are hotlinking images from my site. Silly things like category graphics and twitter logos which I would love to stop as obviously it's costing me in bandwidth.

My question is, I dont really want to stop all images to be hotlinked just the ones i find in my log that a handful of sites are using to the extreme.

Is there anything I can add to the htaccess file to just redirect specific image filenames to say an image stored on imageshack?

    Thanks in advance.

You can send xHost to -F (fail) so it loads nothing, or to another url/etc. going by image is also possible but is much more tedious.

There's 10000s of examples on a simple search.
    anti leech - Google Search

just add it in to your htaccess file below the sitemap rule.
