Any of you SEO experts know the ideal format to import content via RSS?
I already did a search here for "rss links" to see if and where people put links to the original content in their feeds, but I didn't find anything.
I'm certain that content aggregregators and "rebloggers" have a way to maximize RSS fed content for SEO. Maybe we can all help each other out here to boost our RSS fed content & rankings.
Now, the default format provided by the Vb3.6 RSS tool puts the RSS feed title in the title area, and then rss:description in the body, followed by a link to the actual entry with "More..." for the A text.
We can easily rearrange that, though, or import different data entirely. For example, we can use {rss:dc:creator} to show the creator of the content.
I know we can also drop the link back to the original content entirely. Maybe dropping the link would boost our rankings, but that wouldn't be right, would it? Isn't it sort of proper "RSS manners" to always acknowledge and link back to the source?
Any ideas on this and other RSS SEO optimization issues, guys?
