OK, now what?!

I installed vbseo last night. The readme file says that default settings are great for most forums. So now do I just wait for the traffic to come in? (also, how do I know how many people visit my site?) My site is a drag racing site so when I do a search for drag racing on google or yahoo I don't see my site come up. Is this normal? My domain name is new as of Feb. New to websites so I am still very ignorant on a lot of this. Thanks for any info.

Yes, it can take weeks/months for your site to start showing up in the index. And there's still no guarantee that your site will rank high when searching for "drag racing". You need lots of quality content and lots of backlinks to help get your page rank up. Right now, a Google search for "drag racing" returns over 2.2 million results, so you will have to work hard if you want your site to show up near the top of those results.

You should also install vBSEO Sitemap generator and get your sitemap submitted to the major search engines. This can make a huge difference in how fast your site becomes indexed.
