    Number of pages indexed in Google?

    Ok, so supposedly this search string will tell you how many pages Google has indexed from your domain:

    site:fireblades.org

    On mine, currently, that returns about 10k results.

    However, if I then try this search string to return all showthread pages indexed, I get over 30k results currently.

    site:fireblades.org showthread


    So, why doesn't the first string return all indexed pages like it should?

    Yes, this is a known inconsistency in Google search results.

    This online tool lets you easily monitor your domains and sub-domains for number of indexed pages.

    It keeps archive of number of pages indexed in Google,Yahoo,Ask and Live.com, but also stats on your backlinks and it also tracks your Google Pagerank.
