About LinkBacksNot related to vbseo but i like it here so am going to ask anyway.
I have started two new forums one is for articles and one is for a RSS news bot.
I dont want these searchable from the vBulletin search so have turned off New Posts are Indexed by Search Engine - set to NO.
I presume Google will still index them?

Yes, it should, as long as they are included in your sitemap. Or even without that, the spiders would probably find them eventually anyway.
