Needs Serious Help with my SEO?

I had a DDOS attack a few wks ago and ever since my forum seems to have almost died... I have VBSEO but I don't know what's wrong, I search usernames and they come up on other forums and sites (in my niche) but not mine. My site was once top in google, now it's dwindling. Maybe my VBSEO settings are incorrect. advice?
