Need to rearrange the Forums

Hi,

I need to do a relayout of the Forum , move threads to 'new' categories, and combine (or even delete) others.

As far as site maps and general functions I assume the next time they updated and 'sent' this should correct itself but ...

... What is the effect on any link backs that are received for posts within the categories are these 301 redirected and if they can be how do I set this up in the control panel.

If your thread URLs contain the thread ID, then all old thread URLs will forward to the new locations.
