I use vBSEO for some years now but I never really took care of SEO. I just installed vBSEO and let it do the work.

My community exists for four years now, everything is centered around the forums which means that most of the content is within the 'diskussionsforum' folder.


As most of you don't understand German I would like to give you a short explanation of the contents of the website:

It all started 4 years ago.
My dad just bought a Mercedes Benz 230 SL (from 1967) and needed some help with the restauration. We couldn't find the information at the internet so I decided to build up a community.
The community is about the Mercedes Benz w113 (Called Pagoda, or Pagode in German because of the shape of it's roof) and we try to cover almost every aspect of the car.
We have a place where users can buy and sell things, we have a gallery, we have some sort of Garage (vBGarage..) where our users can virtually park their cars. I also included an eBay marketplace that lists all items that have something to do with the w113.

We have close to 2,600 members, 27,000 posts, 3,900 threads and 2,500 unique visitors a day.

The problem is that we don't have a large audience because there are not many car owners around compared to the amount of video gamers.


What really gave me a shock is Google's last PR update.
We went from a good 4 to a bad 2. I don't really care about the PR itself but it shows that something went terribly wrong. :(

I don't have a clue what exactly went wrong but I also noticed that we also have a decrease in the number of visitors.


Please, tell me what I can to do get my visitors back! :(
