Navigation options for forumdisplay and showthread

Hi everyone,

I am thinking to change the options for showthread and forumdisplay listing.

Currently my forumdisplay shows 40 threads per page while showthread shows 25 posts per page.


I am thinking about making forumdisplay to show 30 threads a page and for showthread to show 15 per page.

I've read somewhere that by doing this, it increases your content quality and eventually it will increase the keyword density too.


Is this something you experts would advise to do?

Will this change affect my rankings?

I am interested in this too. I want to make my forum listing shorter and also change from 50 posts a page to probably 30 posts a page. is this good for my serps cause i'm well placed on serps.

Someone please tell me if I reduce the number of posts inside a thread, and also reduce teh number of threads in forum display, will that affect my serps?

It is a simple question and probably vbseo pros have an opinion on this.

i use 25 posts per page and 50 topics per forum as a default.

I think 10 posts per page is annoying.... especially on longer threads.

If I change my current listing, would this affect my rankings? That's my primary concern, because many of users are asking for that change

somewhat...

mainly because page2.html may no longer have the same info on it as indexed, thus it will need to be re-indexed.
