    hello

    all of my forums changed from php to html

    like:
    http://www.examplecom/vb/forum26.php
    to
    http://www.expmplecom/vb/forum26.html

    how? and why?

    You'll need to be more specific....

    php extention is not a default preset for url rewriting.

    things don't just change by them selves.... either someone changed something, or you got hacked.

    i dont change anything and im sure i dont get any hacking,
    its happen after vbseo install

    when i turn off VBseo its back to shows as
    /forums/forumdisplay.php?f=18

    after turn it on
    html

    I'm not sure i understand what's wrong.

    vbseo re-writes the urls to static appearing urls. Depending on the preset chosen, .html is a common extension.

    how do I change it back to .php - while still keeping the re-write to static option set?

    You would need to make your own advanced rules for every option in the URL settings area as none of our presets use this.

    And for no good reason.... There's no logical reason to use 'php' or any extension for the sole use of have an extension.
