    Multiple forums, cross links

    I have multiple forums. Kind of related but different content. Now I wanted to know if it's ok to do this with the search engines?

    1. Post up a link to the other forum in the footer of the first forum and vice versa.
    2. Put up a link to the other site in the signature of my profile on site 1 and vice versa.

    Are all the forums on the same IP?
    if so, you're not going to get the benefit that you would if all sites had their own c-class IP address

    No, they are on different IP's. So it's ok then? I won't get penalized?
