Moving some threads to new sub-forum

I have a bowhunting sub-forum with 150 threads. In recent weeks I have added about 10 threads whose topic is a certain crossbow that I sell in my store. I think the crossbow threads are going to be more and more profitable for sales of crossbows. And more crossbow threads will be started by me and others now that I am personally involved as a crossbow hunter.

I want to split out the crossbow threads from the bowhunting threads to give the crossbow threads more emphasis for now and the future as that segment of my forums grows.

So should I move the crossbow threads into a new "crossbow" forum or should I move the less valuable non-crossbow threads into a new "bowhunting" subforum after renaming the existing bowhunting subforum to crossbow sub-forum.

My question has to do with the temporary loss of Google searches.

Move which ever requires less quantity to move, and do NOT leave a redirect. This will keep the thread with the same ID number, and vbseo will automatically 301 the URL to the correct place based on the thread ID.
