More than 8 months old and still pr 0

Hi my forum is now more than 8 months old, and my pagerank haven't changed anything since I started out. I know that pagerank is not important anymore, but it would nice to get at least pr 1. I have now 330 threads and 1294 posts. I have more than 600 pages indexed on google.

    Whats the problem?

Yeah, it's a waste of time to even bother with it. tiny blogs get pr6 while huge multi-million member sites are pr1. it's stupid and worthless.

The page rank is decided by Google algorithm. to get PR make your website content a unique one.

Hmm, that's not a true comment. If PR wasn't important, Google wouldn't waste its time on refining its formula, and it wouldn't be included in the algorithm.

Perhaps a more appropriate reply would be to let the OP know that PR, as available to the general public via various tool bars and online services, is updated infrequently, and may be outdated by as much as (in my estimation) 6 to 9 months.

PR used to be a calculation value within site ranking algorithms however it changed long time ago as sites found very easy methods to improve their PR.

The truth is that PR, while part of Google's algorithm, isn't terrible important in the overall scheme of things. It's too bad, all my blogs have great PR ranks! haha!
