memcached Unsupported?

Hi i have installed and enabled the memcached today but when i loged in to my seo control panel it still says that memcached Unsupported?? what i need to do?

Please make sure that you have the latest version of memcached installed.

Does vbSEO support memcached on both PHP4 and PHP5?
Although we can confirm that memcached and memcache is installed successfully vbSEO can support it on PHP5 but not on PHP4.
new Memcache; function can not identify memcached on PHP4.
But works OK on PHP5.

FYI other members. You'll need php 5.2.x. This is better than php4. memcache should be on another box to help reduce cpu load.

If you don't have load issues use xcache which seems faster than memcache but uses a bit more resources.

Ofcourse that may apply to our setup only. IIS6

xcache is already used all over the site and from vbseocp memcache is selected. Can't select both there.
