    Malware in the hosted network - Site impact

    Hi,

    I need some help here to proceed further ... please provide your inputs..

    I have my site hosted in hostmonster.com and today i just noticed that it was blocked at my work with the following error code in the browser and it used to work until yesterday ..

    Notification codes: (1, MALWARE_GENERAL, BLOCK-MALWARE, , 0x058624b3, 1318454671.798, QAAAAQAAAAAAAAAAJv8ACP8AAABAAAAAAAAAAA==, )

    QAAAAQAAAAAAAAAAJv8ACP8AAABAAAAAAAAAAA==,

    Then i tested from my home and it just works fine. So i went and searched in the internet i found the following with the google url

    http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site= mydomain.com
    What happened when Google visited this site?
    Of the 2 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 0 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2011-09-10, and suspicious content was never found on this site within the past 90 days.
    This site was hosted on 1 network(s) including AS11798 (ACEDATACENTERS).

    So looks like this network has hosted sites that have distributed malicious software in the past 90 days as per google report and now i am thinking for the same reason it was blocked at my work. I am not sure whether it is temporary or permanent block.

    So in this case even though my site did not have any issues but still it is blocked because of where it is hosted (in this case it is a network) ..

    I really don't know what to do at this situation? Is this happens often ? For me this is a news ... Should i move to new hosting provider like urljet ? Or there also i may face similar issues ? What do you guys think ? please help !!! does this impact SEO ? Page Rank etc., ?

    It's likely something your work put on it's filter/firewall, not google.

    This is something you will need to take up with your IT dept and/or your host
