Lost pagerank 0

Im not sure what caused this, but my forums used to have a PR4 and my gallery had a PR3 now they both have a PR0

Has anybody else had their PR drop this fast?

I don't see your forum and gallery as PR0, I see them as unranked (firefox searchstatus plugin). This usually means the page has been banned in google, but I did a site: search on your site and it came up in the results, so you're not banned.

Have you checked your webmaster tools console for messages from google?

The last PR update was skipped by Google so there can not have been any recent change. Perhaps they are now proceeding with the update and this is just the zero effect that precedes it for many sites. If that is the case then it won't last. It's all speculation with Google but we can see trends. And this has been happening to many sites just before an update. YMMV

When i checked your forum and gallary page rank i got N/A for it. :(

Perhaps it's a glitched and Google will update you. It's hard to know what google is doing this month. Between banning directories, it's a strange past 6 months.

Normally a sites PR will drop during the upgrade process, however it normally only lasts a few days. My own opinion on the banning of directories will be a good thing in the long run as it will focus directory owners on delivering traffic to a website, instead of simply being based on PR.

Directories add very little value to the internet and every man and his dog has one, so Google was right to derank/devalue them.

My PR shows 0 on some Pagerank sites but 5 on the Firefox plug in.

Went to Google today to catch the latest episode of South Park, so typed in "allsp" and the top result was their Amazon shop. Sadly a few other more legitimate sites appear to have gone from top ranking to page 2.

EVERYONE dropped in the latest PR update. i don't think anyone (who had ranking prior) went up.

the best thing to do is to ignore it.

I went from 2 to 3.

But today.. 0.

Mine didn't move at all. I have submitted to a number of article directories this past week in hopes of getting really nice backlinks.

Next year is a new year for all of us. New beginning.
