License covers Development site?

Hi, I have a license for vbSEO.

the vBulliten license allows me to run a dev site that is password protected (not publicly visible), I would like to run vBSEO on this site too since one of my main concerns with upgrades would be breaking the SEO stuff.

I have changed the dns entry for my site so it is now a subdomain of the main site and vbSEO reads as unregistered (n.b. I'm only running one copy of vbseo, the Prod site isn't up yet).

Question: Am I allowed to run this on my dev site? If so how do i getit to show as registered?

yes, you can obtain additional license for development instance, just open a ticket with your dev forums URL.
