Keyword or Tag System For Seo

1) For vbulletin forum with vbseo do you suggest tag system ? For instance, 3 keywords for the thread.

2) Or with a small script, i can enter 3 keywords (unlinked text) in the page manually. Can it be good for my forum ?

Tags can be useful when used in a concise manner. Odds are, they keywords used in a tag are already on the page anyway.

After your reply, something has came to my mind. As you know tags are link. I thought, im gonna convert tags (keywords) to normal text in threads and disable that page: Tags - vBulletin SEO Forums

So there are only keywords in threads with tag system, without any other script

Do you suggest that ?

I suggest not to do any changes and use Tags as Tags only. Tags are not designed for SEO purposes. They are designed to easily categorize your threads so users can search relevant threads easily.

Converting non relevant things for SEO purpose will only do harm in long run imo
