Internal-External Profile Links? Advice?

I have been making some changes to reduce Spam URL output from the forum and I need some advice:

I know that people join forums and never post,

What should I do as far as setting up Internal and External links for the member's profile pages.

I really don't want to block quality people from getting their homepage links from search spiders.

Advice?

I set up a "greenhorn" group.

Until you have 15 posts, you have basically no rights. No avatar, no sig, no atttachments, no profile pics (which probably kept me safe in the latest exploit as well ), no nothing. I used vb's default group promotions to move them to my Regular users group after 15 posts.

This has reduced 99% of my spam.

All of the no-follow options are enabled except for:

Add rel="nofollow" to Links pointing TO Member Profiles FROM Forumhome

Would you then suggest that I enable that one too?

How would you then define a particular usergroup then if vbSEO overides the whole board?

So you enable the post by bit or you use no-follow for that as well?

I nofollow it. These are my exact settings.

I'm good then because that is what I have them set at as well.
