    You should change it back to 644 when you are done making any settings changes to lock it down for security. You aren't REQUIRED to make any changes, as vbseo comes pre-configured with default settings running.

    Your urls are loading in the vBSEO format, so you can be done at this point.

    I've checked your site and all vBSEO URLs are working fine, So you are done the installation correctly.
    You could don't make any changes at vBSEO settings, As Brian said that vBSEO comes with pre-configured settings so you don't have to make any changes right now

    I have the file set to 666 so it is writable, but the next step say file not found.

    VB root does not seem to be a part of the file path even though I uploaded everything per the instructions.

    'vB-root/' is given as an example path of where your vb installation is located. Likely, it's /forums/ for most people who didn't install in root.

    No, it doesn't look like you've imported the product file into the adminCP, nor have the htacess file in place.
