i did a check over to his hole files and data base etc: everything is fine.

i have just requested a back up from yesterday from his host, they said yes they would delete the board and restore.

the email i got from the owner of this a count was .

hi i think vbseo has stuffed our site up have a look"

so i did and there i seen a vbseo 404 error blank page.
so as i said i reinstalled the hole vbseo and now the login comes up with no forum, i have not got a clue what happened.

    can vbseo cause this please?

There doesn't appear to be anything there.

Please open a support ticket with ftp credentials for someone to take a look.

vbseo MAY throw an error if a file is missing or altered, as vbseo proceeses the vb scripts. so while it may appear to be a vbseo error printing out, ultimately, its not vbseo's fault that the script was missing.

Exactly. vBSEO is a very safe script. It has never been compromised. Security is always made a very high priority with every update we release.

I'm glad that you were able to get your forum back online. Hopefully you will be able to track down the cause so that you can prevent any downtime in the future. Downtime can be very detrimental to your SEO.
