Identical Meta description

When using Google Webmastertools analysis I get a lot of socalled "warnings" on "Identical Metadescriptions" in my forum - is this something to worry about, or...

its merely a warning, not an error.

Most commonly, this happens from mods/addons that aren't coded well (ie, itrader.php?member=XXX returns the same meta for EVERY MEMBER).

I already did that. Could You point me in a more direct way to the specific parameter You are thinking of?
In the Google-report it refers to some of these URL's:

vbforum/science-fiction/3301-the-host-stephenie-meyer.html#post42281
and
vbforum/science-fiction/3301-the-host-stephenie-meyer.html

One of these is obvisously referring to thread and the other to a specific post in the same thread.

#post42281 is an anchor and it is needed to specify the actual post within the url and this doesnt create duplicate content.

as mert points out, bookmarks are not duplicate pages.
