How to succeed in MSN?

After no love from MSN on either of my forums (one of which has been around since '01) MSN is finally hammering my sites! I've never had more than 35 hits per day from MSN on either of my forums and they've done 500+ for the last two days in a row with as many as 10 spiders on the forum at once.

I hope this translates into some indexed pages.

did you do anything to entice the msn bot? taunt it perhaps?

I still get around 5 hits a day from MSN while I get thousands from yahoo and google. Doesn't make any sense to me at all. I think, for some reason, MSN has booted my site.

I've had a bunch of days over the last month where msn was in the hundreds of hits per day, but I'm still not seeing any change in indexed pages. :(

For some strange reason, I can't figure out any technique for getting high rankings in MSN.

One funny thing I've noticed...

my rankings in MSN are a lot higher for MS products than in Yahoo or Google.
