How to get the link as one when vBSEO is active?

Hello!
I have two domains: one with vBulletin & vBSEO installed (all ok until now) and another one where i need to display - and link to - lists of recent forums etc (those are read from the vBulletin DB).
How i can know the link as the one used when vBSEO is activated (i.e. in place of ...showthread.php?t=34 to have ...the_forum/the_thread.html). Is there an API in vBSEO (one of the installed files), i can call a function and i get the link or is there a rule to compose this links? I see some characters are trimmed from the name, i think - other are replaced, what can i do regarding this? :(
