How come Technorati is showing showthread links????

The ones that go to the forum are showthread.php links. These pages are clearly rewritten via VBSEO.. it even redirects to the VBSEO pages. How come Technorati is not including the VBSEO rewritten urls?

Boardwatch.com does the same. Not sure how it's retrieving those threads.

We recently discovered a bug with external.php generating dynamic URLs for RSS2 feeds. This, after a change introduced in vB 3.6. It has been corrected and the fix will be distributed in the next build.

This is the reason for Technorati's showthread links.

I was unaware about boardtracker's displaying dynamic URLs but I suspect they have created a custom spider for vB, in which case could be reporting standard vB URLs. Can anyone confirm?

hmm this is kind of a big bug is it not? I read on Google somewhere that 301 redirects do not transfer "page rank". If that is the case none of those Technorati links are helping me as far as SEO. Is there anyway to get ahold of a new build to correct this? We are the Pre Release Team for a reason . Let us break it!

It is in fact. It made me nauseous when we found it. It was very recently though.
