how can I pull an rss feed and post it on non vb pages

I have a client that was wanting to use CaRP to place a rss feed from a particular forum, and place it on a non-vb page..

but we ran into a problem with the rss feed like

vBulletin Setup - Tweaking your Forum for SEO

and placing it on a non vb page with CaRP.. but it didn't work.. After talking with other programmers I was told that this wont work well, and if it does, it wont pull the threads in order..

now I've posted this on vb.org but there support isn't all that great on some post.. and I asked at vb-faq, but i guess no one over there knew either..

now my client is wanting to go live on Friday and I'm running out of time..

do you guys have an idea on what we can use ??

    thank you
